Job:       Interior Architectural Commission

Date:     February 2005

Site:      Coraopolis, PA

Overview: The client was looking for an original light fixture to occupy the large formal dining room in their country estate.  As the windows looked out to two large rhododendron bushes, we thought that a rhododendron light fixture would be appropriate.  The chandelier is made of forged tube and the bulb fixtures incorporate four different sizes of custom forged leaves. The leaves are hot brass burnished and the branches are black patinated. The whole fixture has been coated with proprietary beeswax/linseed oil mixture to prevent oxidization.
