Overview: The clients wanted a cover for their Koi pond, that would keep their toddler from falling in, and maybe even keep the herons from stopping by for a free lunch. The design is a bit Klee inspired, and stays within a strict geometric framework. Fabricated from 5/8” square steel stock, it weighs around 200 lbs, so gravity was all that was required for installation.
