Full-scale mock-up in shop. We recreated the exact (as exact as we could get) points in 3-D space where the posts would go. This enabled us to get the compound curves where they belonged, thus ensuring an an accurate fit on installation day. Such a set up also eases the placement and curving of vines, leaves etc., not to mention priming and painting.
