commission work

Job: Commission

Overview: This falls into the "interesting assignment" category. The client contacted us because hey had recently lost a beloved dog. The dog loved to sleep by the woodstove, and they wished to keep the cremated remains on top of the stove. This bone was forged from 1" square stock, hollowed out, tapped and threaded, and mounted on a simple stand made to hold the whole works. Another example of the flexibility blacksmithing brings to the table for those projects that do not fall within "everyday" parameters.
